Alden Volney

I have watched Videocracy a couple of times, a nice video to rest your eyes on. The other two are great ways of visualising classical music. Keep an eye on Alden Volney.

Latest illustration

Im currently recording new songs and doing artwork for my music solo project Tropical Silence. A story around the music will be very important and its slowly developing. Here is one piece I added to the puzzle. Do I need to say that I read a lot of H.P Lovecraft novels at the moment. Its not directly linked to hes world offcourse but its an atmosphere that really fascinates and inspire. I will soon do a post with some fantastic illustrations by artistst who has visualised hes stories.

Agent Coopers and Diane

Twin peaks is one of my favourite tv series of all time. One of the best things with the series was the attention to small details wich made the story so rich. Agent Coopers tape recordings to Diane was one of these memorable things.

Here is a real treat if you like those moments.

Labyrinth comic adaption

One of my earliest film memories is from when I watched Labyrinth at my cousines place around 1988.
I didn´t see this movie again in many years but when it was released on DVD i bought it. If you have missed it you should definitely check it out, its very 80s but timeless at the sam time. Much of the magic was created by the puppets made by Jim Hensons puppet studio before 3D graphics took over. Here is a comic book adaption of the movie wich follows the story very strictly, kind of fun to compare. But once again, get the movie to!

Download the comic in PDF format here

Old robot illustration

I went trough some boxes with my old illustrations some days ago and found this robot wich I had totally forgot about.
Kind of like the ruin/robot theme.

Recently I have been looking alot on old really detailed frames for paintings. Sometimes they even seem more intreresting than the artwork itself. Inspired by this I illustrated this piece just for fun.
